Art and photography are my passion, the way I experience life. My jumpstart into photography began while living in New York City and working as a top fashion model for the prestigious agency, Elite Model Management. Over several years of being photographed by the fashion industries most reputable photographers, my interests to explore the view behind the lens was a gradual and natural transition. When I wasn't in the studio modeling for magazines such asVogue, Glamour and Cosmopolitan, I attended photography and art courses at Pratt Institute of Manhattan. Soon, my work was catching the eye of my modeling agents at Elite and eventually I was providing portfolio photo shoots for the agencies newly discovered fresh faces. For several years I continued to balance a busy modeling career with a variety of freelance projects. In 2004 I relocated to Seattle and developed my freelance photography business specializing in children's portraiture and portfolio sessions for actors and models. My preferred photo setting is the great outdoors because I love working with natural light but when I'm not on a shoot, I can be found in my studio painting, drawing and creatively exploring personal and commissioned projects in a variety of mixed media.
